Reynie's Biography
“God is love” and that’s how Reynie Matunog believe what God is all about. At an early age of seventeen he entered the Roman Catholic Diocesan Seminary in Dipolog City Zamboanga Del Norte to seek God and to discern on his vocation in life. But life was not there for him, learning the church Latin is a challenge, which on the later part of his life is a very useful language he uses in his mystic calling through tarot card reading.
After the seminary life he decided to pursue a program on Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in English at Cotabato City State Polytechnic College. It was on his 3rd year on the institution where everything changes, he got sick and according to the doctor it was a severe migraine. But modern medical medication was not able to make his health good. He consulted many different folk medications; meet many folk healers in search for cure. That’s the time when his mind was open to learn more and discover more in areas of mysticism. After feeling better from such devastation of being ill, he decided to get a work instead of finishing college. His first job was an online English Teacher for Japanese students. Working to improve himself, he took jobs in the BPO industry in companies namely Convergys, Teleperfomance and Concentrix both in Cebu and Manila. He also worked with one of the biggest banks in world and that’s JPMorgan Chase & Co., for him there are two things he like doing, being a banker and doing tarot card reading5
Some of his adventure includes studying subjects while working and he got some social worker’s knowledge on his portfolio.
It was 2019 before pandemic when he started studying Tarot Cards. While working as a health care advocate he realizes that mental health is complex and it is necessary to be addressed on. He deepens his research on the mystic use of alternative medications, folk healing, and the use of Latin Prayers. He maintains to build network on people with the same practices.
Currently, he is a health care advocate of USANA Health Sciences and a distributor of their products. And pursuing a Program in Bachelor of Public Administration at Polytechnic University of the Philippines under the online school system, he is a President Lister, a proof of his hard work and enthusiasm in learning. While he is doing many of these things on the same time, Tarot Card reading remains a special part of all his activities now and in the future to come, his research and engagement continues to broaden his knowledge having him some loyal believers of this form of art. His name continues to be a trusted one in the interpretation of cards and its meanings.
